Frau Holt, known also as
Dame Holda, is a
Northern European goddess and the original
Mother Goose of children's stories. She
is often shown riding through the night skies upon her sacred goose. She is considered to
be the female counterpart to the
Wild Hunt, and leads the ancestral spirits of the
Furious
Horde during the Winter months.
