Normally I would try to stick specifically to crystals, but in order to heal chakras you will need to expand beyond the normal use of crystals and combine them with stones to properly heal your chakras. Even though some crystals can be used to heal any or all of your chakras, I am mostly going to cover the crystals and stones that are commonly used. So this article will give details about chakras and which stones and crystals to use to help heal any chakra that might be open.

Your body contains energy points that links with the electromagnetic bodies around it, these are called chakras. When these chakras are in a clam state they cause harmony to your physical, emotional and mental beings. With that said if they are blocked or overactive, it can create disharmony and could lead to physical, emotional, or mental distress. Crystals can gently balance and realign your chakra energies. About your Chakras

To briefly describe the chakra, they are energy centers that run up the spine to the crown of the head, this links the electromagnetic bodies to the physical. There are seven major chakras not including your aura that surrounds the physical body with protective energy, or the earth chakra, which is located below the feet. There is also your higher heart chakra, which is located between your heart charka and your throat chakra.

The earth chakra helps keep you grounded, holding you in everyday reality. If this is not functioning correctly there will be difficulty with the physical world. The Higher Heart Chakra is associated with spiritual love. When this chakra is open, a new dimension in love is reached. Going upward to the first major chakra, which is the

Base chakra that is located at the base of the spine. The base chakra is the connection with earth, physical substance and physical energy. When this is blocked, the libido is low and the creative spark is nonexistent.
Sacral Chakra, which is located in the pelvic area. This chakra is associated with physical desires and energy. If this is blocked, social interaction can be difficult.
Solar Plexus, which is between your stomach and your ribs. This is associated with emotional happiness and worldly success. When this chakra is too open, it will allow other people to leach on your energy.
Heart Chakra (no explanation needed on it’s location) is the center of love, balance and healing. When this is blocked, it prevents you from loving others and/or loving yourself.
Throat chakra gives you the ability to speak openly and lovingly. If this is blocked it can impair communication of ideas and feelings.
The Brow Chakra is located on your forehead. This allows you to see clearly and understand all things. If this chakra is too open it will allow other people’s thoughts and feelings to flood in. When it is blocked it will cause mental confusion and impair your imagination.
The Crown chakra, which is located at the top of your head. This chakra is associated with pure energy of the universe. There is actually mixed feelings on this chakra being open. Some would say that keeping it open will allow the feeling of bliss or enlightenment, while others will argue that leaving it open will lead to psychic chatter and to leave it closed. If you want it open or not it is up to you while you are doing your healing work, it depends on how you feel when it is left open or closed.

Well, now that we have gone over the chakras, their locations and functions, we can now discuss the crystals and stones that are used to help heal your chakras.
